Technical supervision of environmental safety of vessels on inland waterways of the Republic of Belarus
Review and approval of technical documentation for the construction, refurbishment, modernization and repair of ships, for the manufacture and repair of materials and products intended for ships
Participation in the certification of ship command personnel, crane operators and welders
Technical inspection of vessels with assignment, confirmation, renewal and change of class (reclassification) of vessels
Development of rules establishing the principles of vessel classification and technical requirements that meet the conditions of safe navigation of vessels
Certification of organizations engaged in the design, construction, refurbishment, modernization and repair of ships, the manufacture, repair of products and the production of materials intended for ships, with the issuance of a certificate of recognition
